We cordially invite you to come in and browse around our Village Shop. Just look for the brightly coloured open flags at the dock or by the road. We may be small but there is a large variety of items within these walls. You can find many everyday items, a selection of daily newspapers, the expanded choice of groceries, toiletries, fresh ground and brewed coffee and fresh baked pastries on the weekends. Of course there continues to be ice-cream and milkshakes. We invite you to linger over your refreshment of choice at our new window coffee-bar, outside on the deck or one of our lawns where you will find comfy chairs and benches positioned for an excellent view of the river and all it’s activity.
We have great gift ideas for that special gift for someone including canvas tote bags, t-shirts, sweatshirts, candles, jams, lawn flags, kites, hats, sunglasses and much more.
We have unique one of a kind gifts as well, created locally by several local artists. There is amazing talent in our area and we are proud to support local artists in our expanded Village Shop. We have paintings, prints, pottery, photographs, honey, jewellery, candles, wood carvings, and much more. Working with one’s hands is a talent and gift that we are proud to be offering and supporting.
The wooden boat history wall is a work in progress as we gather the history of Andress boat building. We are very fortunate to have a St. Lawrence River skiff on display in the store that was build by Ed Andress’s father back in 1903. This is a treasure to view along with pictures of many other Andress built boats. We invite you to sign our guest book sitting amongst the pieces of history so you too can be a part of our story!
